UPDATE: Surveillance video of Food Fast robbery released

Police tell KETK, the Food Fast in the 4700 block of Troup Highway was robbed around 9:40 Sunday night.

A store employee told police a white man entered the store, cashed in a lottery ticket and left.

The clerk said he came back about 2 minutes later and bought a drink.

He then pulled out a silver hand gun and ordered the clerk to hand over all of the money in the register.

He was last seen running South from the store.

The robber is described as a white male, with brown hair and appeared to be unshaven.

He is approximately 25-35yrs old, between 6'0''-6'4''tall, and was around 185lbs.

He was wearing a black hoodie, dark pants and a tan baseball style hat.

A white Chevrolet Avalanche was observed leaving the area at a high rate of speed immediately after the robbery.

The clerk was not injured during the robbery.

Crimestoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and charges filed against the suspects in this case or any felony case.

I'll also say the stores ought to follow what the banks do now. Put a camera at face level, Maybe right behind the casher. That way a real good mug shot is produced.

Can't you get the dang photographs from the store camera and POST THEM? Jeezee, that description is worthless.

It takes time for us to get the video from police. They typically have to review it overnight before it can be released to us.

We got the video up now, though!
