Update: Rusk County Sheriff's office confirms shooting suspect caught in Marshall.

Officials have named Kevin M. Smith as the suspected shooter
LAIRD HILL - Update: The Rusk County Sheriff's Department has confirmed the alleged shooter, Kevin Michael Smith is in custody.
He was found in Marshall.
Two people were shot, one killed, now, Rusk County deputies are looking for who did it.
It happened on F.M. 2012 southwest of Kilgore.
They're looking for 30 year-old Kevin Michael Smith, the alleged suspect.
He's described as 5'9" tall, about 180 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.
Smith may be driving a late-model red pickup with custom wheels.
Here's what happened:
Around 3:30 the Kilgore Police Department got the first call.
"Calls went into Kilgore Police Department in relation to a gunshot," Rusk County Sheriff, Danny Pirtle, says.
Then, the Rusk County Sheriff's Department was called in.
That's when deputies discovered the scene of a serious crime.
The victims' names were not immediately released, just their descriptions.
"White female mid-thirties transported to Tyler Mother Frances Hospital and we have a white male, deceased, gunshot wounds," Sheriff Pirtle says.
Now investigators are trying to find out why these two people were attacked and where their main alleged suspect is.
"The suspect is...we're looking for him ok?" Pirtle says.
In the meantime, officials are left picking up what's left of a place that was once a home that quickly turned into a crime scene.
