***UPDATE***

Tyler - One teen girl is taken to a local hospital after an ATV accident in a Tyler parking lot this morning. It happened on South Broadway in the French Quarter shopping center.

Police say a bunch of teenagers typically hang out by the Dairy Queen before going to school at Robert E. Lee in the morning. This morning before 8 a.m., a 16-year-old boy brought an ATV strapped to a trailer on his pickup truck. Officers say two teen girls decided they wanted to ride on top of the ATV while he drove the trailer around the parking lot. Police think the boy may have taken a curve too sharply, because the ATV straps broke, and the trailer tipped over with the girls on it. They both hit the pavement.

Police say one girl was fine, and another was taken to a local hospital with a head injury. It's unclear how severe the injury was. KETK will bring you more information as it becomes available.

Prayers for the young lady that was injured. I believe it was quite severe. Thank God for the other young lady who escaped injury as her Mother is currently in ICU at TMF hospital. As for the boy, well his parents ought to whoop his butt, take his truck and his ATV.
Seriously, someone should be patrolling the mall and the DQ parking lot before and after school. Minors are smoking and God only knows what else over there. I'm sure Tyler has some of it's finest that are parents too!

Why the hell is he carrying around an ATV on his way to school? I swear to Jeebus people are morons.
