Update: According to KETK's crews on the scene, the fire is now out. The home is still smoking. About half of it was damaged.

The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Smith County fire marshal.

Fire crews are on the scene of a house fire in Troup.

Heavy smoke is visible from the attic of the home located in the 18000 block of Sunshine Lane.

Arp, Chapel Hill, and Troup VFDs are all on scene.
