UPDATE: Two die in pedestrian/motorcycle accident from Friday night

UPDATE: DPS officials confirm the driver of the motorcycle in Friday night's crash, Herbert Westley Owens of Alba, passed away early Sunday morning as a result of his injuries.
Department of Public Safety tells KETK one man was killed in a motorcycle accident late Friday night.
DPS says it happened around 11:30 Friday night on Highway 80, about 5 miles east of Mineola.
A man was traveling westbound on Highway 80 when he struck a man sitting in the road.
That man was 35-year-old Kevin Dale Worsham of Quitman.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the motorcycle, 62-year-old Herbert Westley Owens of Alba, was taken to the hospital.
He is said to be in critical condition with a fractured skull.
He was not wearing a helmet at the time.
