UPDATE (Monday, 9:28am): Blake Irving Thomas surrendered to authorities at Smith County Jail on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at 1:40 p.m.

Thomas has been charged with two counts of Aggravated Robbery that occurred at Cambridge Apartments on September 24, 2012. His total bond was set at $600,000.

ORIGINAL STORY: On September 24, 2012, just after 10 o'clock, Tyler Police were called to the Cambridge Apartments on Old Omen Road  in reference to a report of an Aggravated Robbery of an individual inside an apartment.

Officers went to apartment 412 and talked to two male victims who stated they were robbed at gun point by a person they had met on the basketball court at TJC.  The victims told police that the suspect had entered their apartment after being let in and pulled out a handgun demanding their cash.  The suspect took the cash and fled the area.

The suspect was identified as Blake Irving Thomas, B/M, 12/30/1993, who resided in the same apartment complex at the time of the incident.  Thomas is wanted for Aggravated Robbery by the Tyler Police Department and currently has a warrant with a bond set at $300.000.

Anyone with information about Blake Thomas is urged to contact the Tyler Police Department, at 903-531-1000, or Crimestoppers at 903-597-CUFF (903-597-2833).  Crimestoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and charges filed against the suspect in this case or any felony case.
