tyler — A KETK photographer on scene says the suspect, 39-year-old Mark Antonio Lee, came out of a home with his hands in the air and gave up without incident.

Police were heavily armed and had the house surrounded at the time of the surrender.

Original Report: The Tyler Police Department has caught the man wanted for allegedly robbing the Conoco gas station earlier Wednesday.

He was arrested on the 900 block of West Pickney Street around 3:45 p.m.

Officers had been searching Tyler for the bandit since around 12:30 p.m. He was believed to be carrying a semi-automatic gun at the time of the heist.
