UPDATE: Tyler Police looking for woman who robbed credit union at knifepoint

At around 5:19 p.m., Tyler police received reports of a bank robbery at the Telco Plus Credit Union located at 620 W. Front St.

Witnesses told officials that a light skinned black female, wearing a black mask over her head, entered the bank and displayed a large knife. She placed a bag on the counter and demanded money from the teller. Workers at the bank complied.

The robber then left the bank and was seen leaving the scene in a black car, possibly a Chevrolet Malibu. No one was injured during the incident.

The suspect is described as a black female, approximately 5' 5" tall with a medium build. She was wearing a black hooded mask, black shirt and black pants.

KETK has been told, police are looking for a black woman in connection with this robbery.

According to officials, the suspect allegedly robbed the credit union at knifepoint.

KETK crews are on scene at the 600 block of W. Front in Tyler, where several police units have responded to the Telco Plus Credit Union.

Tyler Police Department is reporting this call as a robbery.
