UPSHUR COUNTY — According to Upshur County officials, 3 fire departments were needed to contain the blaze.

Firefighters tell KETK, the home was destroyed.

Upshur County fire officials tell KETK, they have crews on the scene of a structure fire on FM 1795, west of Gilmer. They say it is about halfway between Lemon Rd. and Red Maple Rd.

Authorities say the structure is 50% involved.

No word yet on whether there are any injuries involved or if there was anybody in the structure when the fire began.
