A one-vehicle wreck on Old Bascom Road caused minor injuries to one woman and damage to a fence surrounding a power substation.

The wreck happened during the noon hour. DPS says the driver of a red X-Terra took a sharp curve too fast, causing her to flip her vehicle. She was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The power substation is owned by the Cherokee County Electric Cooperative.
