Law enforcement is still looking for her kidnapper, 22 year old Jackie Martez Guthrie, who also allegedly shot and killed 18 year old Chantel Barret. According to her Facebook page, Barret lived in Tyler and was a member of the 2012 John Tyler High School class.

Authorities are currently searching for a 2001 Ford Crown Victoria with aftermarket wheels and dark tinted windows bearing Texas license plate CKP512.

One woman is dead and another missing after a murder-kidnapping in Coffee City Thursday night.

The shooting took place at 10:35 pm Thursday in Briarwood Bay.

Officials say Jackie Martez Guthrie, 22, shot Chantel Barret, 18, in the back, killing her, then forced his girlfriend -- who is 7 months pregnant with his child -- into Chantel's vehicle, a 2001 silver Crown Victoria with the license plate CKP 512, fleeing the scene.

The Henderson County Sheriff's Department is currently leading the investigation, along with the Texas Rangers and the U.S. Marshal Service.
