More civilians are armed in the U.S. than anywhere else in the world
Houston — The Houston Chronicle is reporting; In the raw aftermath of the second-worst school shooting in U.S. history, countless gun enthusiasts much like Adam Lanza's mother complicate a gun-owning narrative that critics, sometimes simplistically, put at the feet of a powerful lobby and caricatured zealots.

The 2nd Amendment was NOT about duck hunting.. or even protection. It was to give the citizens a way to take back their government if it became a tyrannical monster. Simple as that. Most other nations the 'citizens' are no more than subjects and have very few rights if any. Look at Russia now. The people can be bullied by Puten at any time and arrested for criticizing him. Look at China or every Middle Eastern country except Israel. Or South America! See, the 2nd protects the other rights.
