The University of Texas at Tyler has created a new bachelor’s degree with the working adult in mind. Aiming to help those who maybe once started college, but didn’t finish or those looking to move up in their current career field, UT Tyler created a completely online undergraduate degree.

The degree of Applied Arts and Sciences will focus on giving adults the skills they need in the modern day work force. Courses focused on leadership, creativity, and teamwork are just some of the topics non-traditional students would be focusing on.

The University is excited to give their adult students another pathway of options so that they may achieve their goals. This degree program offers everything on-campus students would be benefiting from. The only difference is how students receive the information. Adult students enrolled in the degree program would have access to all the resources on-campus students have.

The new program will be ready to go for the Fall 2015 semester.
