TYLER, Texas - A 35-year-old Grand Saline man is sentenced to 71 months in federal prison for robbing the Mineola Community Bank in Grand Saline.

The robbery happened in November 2009. Court paperwork says Carl Ray Davis ordered a teller to give him the cash from the teller drawer, which he then took from the bank.

On Nov. 4, 2009, a federal grand jury returned a federal indictment charging Davis with bank robbery.
