Vehicle rollover off Hwy 69 in Tyler

CHEROKEE COUNTY — UPDATE: Cherokee County officials tell KETK a man from Whitehouse was headed back home this morning when he crashed his pickup truck about a mile south of Bullard just after 7:00 am. He was traveling northbound on Highway 69 and Farm to Market Road 2493 when he fell asleep at the wheel. The truck flipped and then landed into a nearby ditch. Deputies who responded to the scene tell KETK they closed the northbound lanes of Highway 69 for about an hour, but the lanes are back open at this time. They tell KETK the man's injuries were minor.
KETK is getting reports that one vehicle has flipped and is on fire just south of Bullard on Highway 69. A Smith County deputy has temporarily closed down the northbound lanes. Bullard fire is responding, along with DPS. Stay logged on to KETKnbc.com for the very latest on this.
