RUSK COUNTY - A video on Jessica Carson's Jessica Carson's MySpace page shows Blaine Milam rocking baby Amora Carson.
Other photos show Jessica Carson smiling - when she gave birth to her daughter.
The apparently happy family before what investigators call the most horrific crime they've ever seen.
"This is probably one of the hardest cases I've ever had to deal with," said seasoned criminal investigator Amber Rogers.
The mother of two says she was one of the first to find Amora lying on her back the morning of Dec. 2 inside a Rusk County home.
Motionless, tragically beaten to death.
"Something like this hits home with every parent," said Rogers. "That's the reason the nation has put its eye on this particular case because it's involving such a young child."
Officials issued another search warrant Friday to look for clues in the house.
They say one of the top priorities is determining what instrument was used to allegedly kill Amora.
"You want to make sure the evidence matches the offense and matches the stories," said Rogers.
She says unlike popular crime shows on TV - murder investigations take time, especially when you have volumes of evidence such as this case.
"Everything is still under investigation," she told us. "All of the evidence and analyzing is still pending. We have an entire investigative team working on this case."
