Dallas, Texas (NBC) — A Texas jury has found Dallas Mavericks owner and businessman Mark Cuban, not guilty, of insider trading.
A federal court jury deliberated in Dallas Wednesday afternoon for only four hours before handing down the acquittal.
Cuban, 55, was accused by the United States Securities and Exchange Commission of trading on non-public information.
This, after he sold his 600,000 shares in internet search company Mamma.com in 2004.
The trial only lasted three weeks.
