First person shooters have been the most popular video games in the recent year, with games like halo and call of duty selling in record numbers.

But this has also been a cause for concern for many parents.

But as of now, there has been no clear link between video game violence translating to real world violence.

In a study conducted at Indiana University, they found that just a few hours of playing violent video games does change some brain functions.

The researchers say that the part of the brain that controls emotions is decreased while playing these games.

Though the line between violence, and potential violence cause by these games has yet to be decided, experts do say that these games have taken a toll on families.
