Longview, TX — This Thanksgiving Hiway 80 Rescue Mission will serve 800-1000 meals

Each year the number of hungry people that share our Thanksgiving table is growing. To respond to the increasing needs the Rescue Mission has added additional meals.

The following is a list of meals and prep activities

Nov 22th 9am-11am prepare meals on wheels (30 volunteers will prepare 400 meals)

Nov 23th 9am-10am Deliver meals to shut-ins (8 teams of volunteers)

Nov 23th Noon Thanksgiving Meal all welcome (main meal)

Nov 23th 11:30am Thanksgiving Meal at Hiway 80 Rescue Mission Women’s and Children’s shelter (for residents only)

Hiway 80 Rescue Mission is located at 3117 W Marshall Ave. the (Women Shelter is across the street)

We still have with a critical need of food for Thanksgiving and Christmas meals

Paper Goods (Plastic forks, plates, cups, etc.)
Hams and Turkeys
Eggs
Dinner Rolls
Butter
Instant Patatoes
Canned yams/ sweet potatoes
Cans of green beans
Cool whip
Pies
