Push is on to have Johnson pardoned

The Houston Chronicle is reporting; lawmakers seeking a presidential pardon for Jack Johnson, the world's first black heavyweight boxing champion imprisoned a century ago for his romantic relationships with white women, renewed their efforts on Tuesday.

Good grief, what do they want a J.J. holiday? Quit trying to go back and fix history, we have more important things to worry about, like getting the first black U.S. president out of office before he finishes wrecking this country.
