A three-acre fire that started from a Saturday evening lightening strike reignited Sunday morning, burning through more than 70 acres in Rusk County.

Texas Forest Service spokesman Dena Matteson said crews were sent back to Rusk County Road 326 Sunday morning around 11:45 a.m. after dispatch advised that the blaze had reignited.

Matteson said that as of 4 p.m., Texas Forest Service officials had completed 90 percent of the fire line, which helps prevent the fire from spreading to more land.
