An East Texas store is in need of structural repairs after a two-year-old crashed his dad's car into the front of the building.

Hughes Springs Police Chief Randy Kennedy tells KETK, Friday morning, a man had stopped at the Dollar General in Hughes Springs to make a quick purchase and left his toddler in the car. The father left the car running to dash into the store when his child crawled into the drivers seat, accidently knocking the gear shift into drive.

The car rolled forward and crashed into the front door of the building. Kennedy says there were no injuries, but the store has temporarily closed for repairs.

The dad was cited for not having a valid Texas diver's license and for having no insurance.
