Jessica Alba did what to lose the baby weight?
CNN — Between all of the cleanses, juice fasts and intense workouts, we're not really shocked by what celebrities do to keep trim.
But Jessica Alba has come up with a different - and old-school - method.
Alba, 31, has two kids with her husband Cash Warren: there's four-year-old Honor, and 1-year-old Haven. In order to get back in shape after having her girls, Alba reached for a girdle ... two of them.
"It was brutal; it's not for everyone," she told Net-A-Porter's magazine. "I wore a double corset day and night for three months."
As you can imagine, "it was sweaty," Alba said, but also "worth it."
If that sounds extreme to you, Alba probably isn't sweating it. As she tells Net-A-Porter, motherhood has made her more fearless, particularly when it comes to her acting.
Working on the "Sin City" sequel, "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For," "was so opposite to what I do [at home]," Alba said.
"My approach to acting now is so different -- I'm fearless because I have nothing to lose," she went on. "Before [children] my identity was wrapped up in every decision -- now, I don't care. It could be a pile of s*** and you could think it was the worst thing you ever saw, but I still had the best experience."
