Shreveport, La — Shreveport detectives are investigating a severed hand and foot that were found at a local business Wednesday afternoon.

At around 1 p.m., police were called to Riegel By-Products, located in the 500 block of Fortson Street, on reports of a found human foot and hand.

The appendages have been confiscated and will be taken for testing to determine if they are in fact human, according to Shreveport Officer Marcus Hines.

Based on information gathered, the appendages appear to be very disfigured and old.
