Organizers planned for record-breaking crowds, and ran out of wristbands to count everyone
San Antonio, TX — The Houston Chronicle is reporting; as they listened to Texas country star Roger Creager's "River Song," floaters broke the world record for largest raft of tubes or rings Saturday at Rockin' R River Rides on the Guadalupe River in New Braunfels.
The record was previously listed as an "open record" by the Guinness Book of World Records. In order to break the record, the float needed 250 participants. Creager previously told the Express-News that whether 251 people or 2,000 people showed up, the event was "going to be awesome."
