People lined up hours in advance to be among the first to get their hands on the new i-Phones that wen on sale Friday.

There were several i-Phone fans waiting outside a store in Charleston, South Carolina.

One woman there really wanted to be among the first to get one of the new i-Phones and was willing to make a big trade with two women in line in front of her to make it happen.

"They decided that they were going to do a swap with me. They liked my Louis Vuitton bag. So, they would give me their spot, since I was guaranteed, hopefully, one in place of the Louis Vuitton bags," said Lisa Hoffman.

She says she traded her $2,000 bag in exchange for moving up to the number three spot in line.

She was originally fifth in line, but she says she heard the store had a limited supply and she wanted to make sure she got one of the phones.

Hoffman says she believes that the trade was more than fair.

Funny as most of these nerds with the apple fever. What a piece of crap with Itunes needed ton use this crap. When people stand in lines for a new tech toy that pretty much tells the story of there life. These are the ones walking around texting and bumping into walls. NO LIFE WHAT SO EVER. This is why I never purchased another apple product since the first Iphone and a worthless Imac 27 inch collecting dust. Apples phone will soon be a thing of the past as new tech toys are so much better.

I hope her phone was buggy lol

I don't know which is more stupid, paying 2 grand for a bag or trading it for a chance to buy a phone. I would not give 2 cents for all the phones they ever made, its still just a phone. I guess that I am different than most as I have better things to do than play on a phone all day and one of them is that I work for a living & it does not involve sitting on my butt for 8 to 12 hours a day.
