Weird News - It's Friday and that means it's time for Weird News.
First up, who knew a cooking pot could be so sturdy ? Four young men broke into the home of an Ohio grandmother. They threw a bottle of whiskey at her foot and started going through her purse. That's when she grabbed a pot and smacked one of the guys right in the head with it.
The bad guys decided they'd had enough, and ran off.
Police did catch the thieves.
He hasn't cut his hair or beard since he was 17, and now 35 years later— a man in India sports a seven-foot-long beard. He now wants to make it to the Guinness Book of World Records, but the 52-year-old has some growing to do.
The world record for longest beard came in at 17-and-a-half feet back in 19-27.
And finally, an octopus caused a mess for employees at California Aquarium. The octopus apparently used one of her eight arms to tug on a valve in her tank. This caused five-hundred gallons of sea water to flow into offices.
Luckily, the staff cleaned up and refilled the tanks in time for a student field trip.
