Do you think the government would be run more effeciently if both the democrat and republican parties were ousted and voters chose independents?

The Dummycrats and the Republican'ts have long demonstrated their political and fiscal incompetence. Time to give the Libertarian and Constitution Parties a chance. How? Educate yourself on their platforms, sign petitions to get Constitution Party candidates on the ballot and then vote for them! We don't need term limits we've got one in our pocket,a voter registration card.

The problem is that most people are dishonest now days so with that being said it is basically a lost cause anymore. This is the reality of the situation. I would love for this country to be on the right track but its not going to happen. How did it get like it is? Dishonesty is the rule rather than the exception.

The problem is after the Bush debacle the Independent party is now the new republican party. ALOT of people who used to be staunch republicans now call themselves Independent yet hold all the same views they did before.

I am totally for elimination of present political incumbants through term limitation or mere voting them out of office, whichever would happen first. I believe that I could count on one hand those that actually "represent" the people of the United States. The politicians seem to think that THEY run this country rather than REPRESENT us and our best interests. It seems to me that the politicians now in office seem to believe that they can do whatever THEY want done and that we, the people, should be abundantly grateful to them no matter how much it costs or how we are belittled to and in front of other countries. "CLEAN SWEEP" - "CLEAN SWEEP"! Getting rid of those presently in office would be just the beginning. Get rid of that darn "Electorial College" and let each vote count! It is time to stand up, be counted and go for the sort of "CHANGE" this country needs. Honesty and integrity need to come home!

I am definitely for a 3rd party. Hopefully an honest party. It's hard to tell the Republicans from the Democrats anymore. They both want big government and spend, spend, spend. It has to stop! Our country is going bankrupt, if it hasn't already.

Both the current parties are just alike. Both are big government and big spenders.

I would very well vote for an independent who was not bought off or belonged in someone's hip pocket. He would have to represent the people.

Most of congress represent themselves and their own agendas. We either must change to a people who run the government from one where they run us. The current system is perverted beyond repair.

YES! I do think we would be better off WITHOUT either democrat or republican parties.

I think anyone who ask that question needs to take some more history lessons. I understand that Washington didn't like the idea but we also know that a single party can lead to corruption. Not that any of this matters in the US. Seriously I love America but I'm ashamed of whats been happening here the last 12 years.

I am for it as long as you only have one. 3 is not good because whichever the 3rd one is most like that Party loses. While we are getting rid of the Parties we can also get rid of the electorial college. Make every vote count!
