I agree with the person who said the Tyler paper. It is nothing but a mouthpiece for the DA's office and Jack Skeen. They won't report anything the DA's office doesn't want reported. The Mineola Swinger's club case is a perfect example. Texas Monthly exposed the fact that the case is bogus, the Texas Ranger lied and the DA's office has withheld evidence. If you only read the Tyler paper you would not know those things. Furthermore, its not just a coincidence that Skeen gets his name in there 3 or 4 times more than any other judge in the county. Of course they never report on his obviosly biased behavior.

FAUX is pure right wing propaganda

So much for unbiased news.

3 months agoI am not sure that bias is the problem. The news entities today seem intent on being more irresponsible than biased. Elements such as the webcam polls that began on the a.m. news do very little to clarify issues. They simply provide a medium for inflammatory comments and irresponsible responses. KETK in the morning used to be my favorite lead in to the TODAY show. Now,I can barely watch it. It recycles the same news over and over until I can recite the teleprompter verbatim before Bob can. Secondly, the addition of Garth is inflammatory. His piece on the swine flu is an example of what will lead to an epidemic. TV personalities negating serious educational efforts to protect the public, just because he thinks he's being cute. What we need to evaluate is not the bias, but what happened to responsible journalism in our society. Let Michael Jackson rest, pay attention to critical issues in the nation and report accurately on solutions. Become part of the solution, don't keep being part of the problem. I'm trying to avoid the mute button in the mornings, but you are not giving me much help in succeeding.

2 months agoNBC byfar, followed by MSNBC,ABC,CBS,CNN. Fox news is the only place to get any kind of reporting that is not agenda driven.
Oddball
3 months agoHands down the winner is Fox News, the unthinking, ultra-right, conservative, and often self-professed Christian, fanatic person's news channel. MSNBC comes in a distant second because it does have some Republican and conservative pundits to present opposing viewpoints to its mainly Democratic, moderate to liberal views. CNN goes both ways.

3 months agoALL the broadcast networks:ABC,CBS,NBC,PBC were and still are obammy and democrat groupies!
So too are the cable channels MSNBC,CNN, and to a degree The Oreilly Factor on FoxNews are champions and co-conspirators in the obama fraud that has been perpetuated on this country!!
There are INDIVIDUAL reporters on FoxNews that have credibility and their ratings show it!
And of course, all the fish-wrap papers that used to be called NewsPapers are just putrid relics of journalism!!
