Valentine's day is in two days and maybe one year your sweetie didn't get you the perfect Valentine's gift. Sometimes Valentine's day is not all romance and chocolates. Some people have gotten some pretty interesting gifts on this day of love and it's a Valentine's they will never forget.

We asked some East Texans, what's the worst gift they've received.

"The worst Valentine's day gift I've ever gotten was a singing card that was in Spanish and I don't speak Spanish so I didn't understand what it was saying."

"A home appliance."

"The worst Valentine's day gift I've ever got? Probably a mop (laughs)."

"A blow dryer. What in the heck were you thinking? Really do I need to fix my hair I mean are you trying to tell me something."

It may sound like were giving men a hard time, so we asked some of them.

"I bought her a shovel so she could dig fish worms for me so I could go fishing."

"54 years ago, the day after Valentine's day, I told her that I loved her and wanted to marry her and she asked me why did you not ask me yesterday when it was Valentine's day, I told her I didn't have money for a card yesterday."

And of course we had to ask the people of KETK and Fox 51 what kind of Valentine's gifts they've received.

"The worst Valentine's day gift I got was this camo skirt that was made out of windbreaker material and it didn't even fit and it wasn't even pink," said Fox 51 anchor Rachel Hackbarth.

"One time my boyfriend broke up with me the day before Valentine's because he didn't even want to give me a gift," said KETK reporter Stacey Spivey.

So you can say at least one year, everyone will get an interesting valentine's day gift.
