DALLAS - Entering the game with only one win under their belts this season - the St. louis Rams danced, celebrated and frankly made it look easy in the team's 34-14 lopsided win over the Cowboys Sunday.
Dejected, Dallas players were left shaking their heads while the rest of us wondered - "What's Up with America's Team?"
How does a team that was 13-3 last season with an all-star cast, lose three of its last four games?
Cowboys' players and personnel don't seem to know - so we set out to hear what Cowboys' faithful have to say about this sluggish stretch.
"I turned my head and walked away," said Tyler fan Rafferty Smith. "I got really frustrated. The defense is bad, our offense is worse...I think it's their attitude, really."
Ragnar Einarsson, from Canada, is in East Texas visiting family. A lifetime Dallas Cowboys fan, he says the only thing looking good for the team right now - is the cheerleaders.
"I wish they'd show them more than the players," Einarsson said. "At least the cheerleaders would give us better entertainment. I thought Dallas was horrible. Romo got hurt and they didn't look good anyway."
He's right - Romo was a no-go - as was safety Roy Williams, cornerback Terrance Newman and running back Felix Jones.
Forty-year-old backup quarterback Brad Johnson started and appeared a bit rusty, although he describes it a bit different.
"Not rusty, but now not in sync," he said after his first start since 2006 for Minnesota. "They did god things defensively."
He was 6-of-18 for 66 yards and an interception while the Rams built a 24-7 halftime lead, then finished 17-for-34 for 234 yards with a TD pass in the final 2 minutes.
Meanwhile - Terrell Owens said simply: "The Rams came out and kicked our butts."
While most East Texas Cowboys' fans seemed angry, others tell us they're not giving up on the team.
"We've got a chance to be the SuperBowl Champs," said Tyler resident Ken Joplin. "But (the Cowboys) got to get with it and do it right and do it well!"
