The city of White Oak announced on Thursday they are implementing Stage 3 of their drought contingency plan effective immediately.

Until further notice residents should follow the watering guide provided below.

■ For EVEN-NUMBERED addresses - Watering is limited to Sundays and Thursdays from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
■ For ODD-NUMBERED addresses - Watering is limited to Saturday and Wednesdays from 10:00 p.m. to 6:...00 a.m.
■ Washing ANY type of motor vehicles are limited to your specific days above but from 8:00 p.m. - 12:00 p.m.

PROHIBITED USES OF WATER ARE AS FOLLOWS:
■ No washing of sidewalks, drive-ways, parking lots, building and/or structures, and flushing of gutters.
■ No filling or refilling of swimming pools/Jacuzzi-type pools except for during designated watering days/hours.
■ No operation of any ornamental fountain or pond for aesthetic or scenic purposes except to sustain aquatic life or if equipped with a recirculating system.

SPLASH-PAD USAGE:
The splash-pad at the City Park will be closed to the public until further notice. The ONLY exception to this will be for reserved parties already booked and paid.

The city will be enforcing the plan and violators can be fined from $250-$2,000 each day.
