The Whitehouse Wildcats have won their first ten games of the season.

That has never happened before.

The 'Cats are led by quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

"It's great because when he's scrambling you can't ever stay down," said Whitehouse receiver Jaylon Dews.  "You have to keep running no matter what. That's what I like about Pat."

The House edged John Tyler, 55-54, for the district championship.

"That is so sweet," said Whitehouse defensive tackle Devan Collier. "We made school history not only with the 10-and-0, but beating John Tyler. It's just perfect. It's awesome."

Whitehouse is ranked third statewide and the Wildcats will start the state playoffs this week.

Whitehouse will play Arlington Seguin Friday night at Mesquite Memorial Stadium in a bi-district battle.
