Wildfires Turn Deadly
Fire crews are struggling to control a deadly Colorado wildfire.
Two deaths have been reported, 16 structures burned and hundreds of homes evacuated.
Reinforcements are headed into the fire zone and are shifting their efforts from defending and evacuating homes to fighting the fire.
As planes began an aerial assault ground crews were brought in from Utah, Arizona and South Dakota.
Dry, windy weather turned ponderosa pine trees and dry brush into perfect kindling and a deadly threat.
"The plume was huge - it looked like a bomb went off," said evacuee Peter Suurvarik.
Roughly 900 hundred homes are under evacuation orders.
