A junior at Hallsville High school and two dogs were killedafter being hit by a train in Harrison County.

Harrison County Administrative Deputy Jay Webb confirmed the student was Kristina Lawrence.

911 operators received a call at approximately 6:35 p.m., Tuesday, that an eastbound Union Pacific freight train was involved in an accident with a woman who was standing on the tracks with two dogs.

The incident occurred near the intersection of Roy Green Rd and US Highway 80. The on-board engine cab video from the train is under review by the Union Pacific investigator’s office in Longview, Texas.
