Woman allegedly Kidnapped at Knife-point

TYLER - An eighteen year-old woman is allegedly kidnapped at knife-point from a U.T. Tyler building.

Police say the victim was contacted by a former friend who's described as a 22 year-old man a little before six this morning.

Police report he took out a knife, and threatened her with it until she got into his car.

The suspect then drove the victim to a place East of Tyler, he told the victim to hurt herself. The suspect already reportedly cut the victim's face, arms and legs.

At this time, the victim ran back to the car and escaped back to U.T. Tyler, where police there helped her.

The suspect was found and arrested for possession of marijuana and aggravated kidnapping,

He's in the Smith County jail on $750,000 dollars bond.
