FORT WORTH - Four teenagers are in trouble with police after a quest to find ghosts in their school is busted.

Fort Worth Police say the boys, ages 13 to 15, had blankets and pillows, and planned on spending the night inside Stripling Middle School.

A legend at the school suggests ghosts roam the hallways at night.

"It does have its humorous side," says Lieutenant Henderson with Forth Worth PD. "And certainly these kids don't deserve too harsh a punishment for what they did. Because it's just kind of comical, but it is illegal."

It'll be up to the Fort Worth School District to decide whether to prosecute the teens on trespassing charges.
