TYLER - There are three candidates vying for the Texas Senator spot: Incumbent Republican John Cornyn, Democrat Rick Noriega, and Libertarian Yvonne Schick.

ENERGY: John Cornyn and Rick Noriega are in favor of offshore drilling and finding alternative forms of energy.

WAR: Senator Cornyn wants to continue the efforts overseas without a withdrawal plan, and Noriega and Schick want to end the war and bring troops back as soon as possible.

HEALTH CARE: Cornyn and Noriega want to lower the cost of health care, but Cornyn wants to keep insurance in the private sector and Noriega wants to continue employer-based insurance.

ECONOMY: Noriega and Schick say they want to stop corporate bailouts. John Cornyn voted for the 700 billion dollar bailout plan.
