Time for "Your Turn," up for discussion in this edition, the first presidential debate. Did you agree with John McCain's wish to postpone it ?
Mr. McCain said he would rather be in Washington, to help deal with the proposed bailout legislation.
Democratic Candidate Barack Obama said a national crisis is the perfect reason to keep the debate - as is.
This from a McCain supporter:
"He(Mr. McCain) is a true american and knows this is probably the most important decision facing our country for a long, long time. All Obama knows how to do is talk, talk, promise free stuff and promise more free stuff."
"Looks to me like McCain is taking the opportunity to get out of something he isn't prepared for—-a think-on-his-feet debate with Obama," Joyce says. "Maybe he needs more time to rehearse, just like Sarah (Palin) is getting."
"I'm glad President Bush made Obama go to Washington," this person says. "After all, being a Senator is his job! I believe he's served about 149 total days in that position and he thinks he's qualified to be our president?"
Barte says; "McCain has no chance at the presidency..like the Cowboys have no chance of going to the Superbowl..he does have a lot in common with Palin his VP..they both speak in tongues on the issues.."
Understand, the views expressed on "Your Turn" aren't always those of the KETK newsroom or management.
