The Topic: Medical Marijuana

EAST TEXAS - It's time for "Your Turn," the segment where we share comments made by you. Our topic this time: medical marijuana.
Marijuana, used for medical reasons, is legal in California..
Now some lawmakers in Washington say the Obama administration could be loosening the reigns on the law, possibly expanding it to other states.
Worried politicians think it could lead to more nationwide drug use.
St. JAKK says he's enjoyed pot since 1968:
"This is the first time in my memory that the federal gov. has taken a rational (though still somewhat restrictive) stance on pot......but its a start..."
"Wake up! marijuana is already here," PATIENT PATIENT says. "We're already living with it. therefore, we're not adding marijuana to the mix, we're simply not adding the fear of arrest to the problems of those unfortunate enough to need doctor-recommended marijuana."
KS adds:
"It's about time!"
