An East Texas man is in jail after he set his step mother's house on fire.
It happened at 4:20 p.m. Monday when Harrison County Deputies were called to a resident in the 3600 block of Farm to Market Road 2208.
A house was destroyed in an early morning fire in North side of Tyler. Firefighters were called to 1718 West 24th street around one Tuesday morning.
They tell KETK a small house was covered in flames when they arrived.
