San Antonio — Just two years ago Miles Austin got his first NFL start.
Now he's the most experienced player in a very young receiving corps.
Austin told KETK's Phil Kuchinsky, "I'm the oldest guy. That feels different."
With Roy Williams gone the Cowboys will be relying on Austin and former Lufkin Panther Dez Bryant to put up big numbers this season.
It's a lot to ask from two young guys but Austin and Bryant have spent a lot of time talking to each other about how they can improve.
Coach Jason Garrett said, "Miles is a more experienced guy. Helping Dez make his way is a good thing."
Garrett is excited about what Bryant and Austin can do.
But he knows with young players there will be bumps in the road.
