the death penalty is no punishment. Being on dialysis would be punishment to me. But if the pt. or the family's don't care about what they have to go thru then the nurse had no right to intervene. That is job security. Personally I would never allow anyone I love to go thru all of that suffering just to live a little longer. But some people don't mind it. Those people should be kept alive at all costs. It is job security you know.
