Al Gore has quite a bit of stock in ‘green’ companies. The ‘scientist’ involved in the leaked emails were getting lots and lots of $$$ in grants to ‘prove’ global warming.
The politics has to do with control. By limiting all kinds of consumption the politicians and government employees have more control (and thus more power.)

Global Warming ALWAYS was politics, and business.

It was a scam from the start. Simple as that!
