I was under the impression that this country embraced a 2-party system of government (more, if you consider the loud-mouth rabble of the t-bags, and include the Independents in the mix)...but Texas is unique in that if things aren't going the repubs way, they can re-write the rules of engagement to write off any rational discussion before ramming through their proposals, which usually mean the big boys win, the worker bee doesn't!
