All Rick and Dewhurst want to do is sell the state property to their real estate and land developer friends at below market value just like the Houston developer who bought the prison property in Sugarland and donated millions to the Rick Perry campaign funds. Another is Cliff Johnson who was on the State payroll as advisor to Perry and bought so called unproductive prison land in Anderson county at below ($300 to $500 per acre) market value. This land was some of the most fertile land that was used to grow produce but is now used to sell hunting trips to the wealthy friends of the governor and Lt. Governor. Another name that need to be looked at is Dr. McFarland who also supported Rick Perry and received 2000 + acres of prime Prison property that was part of the Coffield Unit in Anderson county that was also declared unproductive (but was very fertile land) at below market value and is making millions by selling hunting trips. According to some the purchase that Dr. McFarland made was being investigated but the investigation was stopped by Perry.
PERRY WAS DECLARED A MILLIONAIRE IN DECEMBER 2009 BUT HE DID NOT DO THAT ON HIS SALARY AS GOVERNOR. HIS EXPLANATION WAS HE MADE IT THROUGH REAL ESTATE DEALS....SURE DID BUT THE REAL ESTATE BELONGED TO THE CITIZENS OF TEXAS
NOW THEY WANT TO CLOSE MORE OF THESE PRISIONS SO THE CAN SELL THE PROPERTY OFF AT BELOW MARKET VALUE TO MORE OF THEIR DEVELOPER FRIENDS!!!!
