LEO, WHAT ABOUT NOT STANDING UP FOR TEXAS WORKERS? THIS IS WHY WE NEED HEALTH INSURANCE REFORM FROM THE FEDS, BECAUSE OUR REPUBLICAN CONTROLED STATE GOVERNMENT IS NOT STANDING UP FOR TEXAS WORKERS.
My daughters employer offered her health insurance at $200 a month and I thought that it was going to great for her to buy into until we read the policy. If she bought in, she would be paying $2,400.00 a year in premiums, a $3,000.00 a year deductable and a $5,000.00 a year co-pay all on a $1,200.00 a month income. WOW, OUT OF POCKET $10,400.00 BEFORE THEY WOULD PAY ANYTHING AND THAT DID NOT INCLUDE HER CHILD JUST HER. GLAD TO SEE OUR REPUBLICAN STATE INSURANCE BOARD IS LOOKING OUT FOR TEXAS WORKERS.
