Yes, they have already said that whether or not we raise the debt ceiling, if we don't get our spending under control, they will downgrade us. We are heading down the same road as the European countries such as Greece and these credit rating agencies know that. If we don't just cut back our deficit spending, but stop it and start making a surplus to pay off the debt that we have, we are going to be downgraded and our country is at risk.
