I have been travaling up and down Hwy 110 for more than eight years and have never seen the Accidents and [Near Misses] that have Occurred on that 1000ft of road since it was taken up and relaid (I believe) in 2008. I have seen numerious cars that have been thrown into that South Bound ditch leaving Whitehouse. Most have been lucky enough not to suffer the same fate as this young lady. Anyone in the state of Texas should be able to travel down a straight stretch of road in the rain, going the Speed Limit, and not be in fear of Hydoplaning.... You can't do thet there! IT'S VERY DANGEROUS! Anyone that travels that hyway regularly knows NOT to use the inside lanes, either comming into or going out of Whitehouse when it's raining. Our Elected County Officals should have reviewed that section of road as soon as the Accident reports started flowing in. They have an obligation and a duty to the people of this county to see that the building or maintaining of our roads meet State Construction Specifications. I can bet the bank that this 1000ft of road would not pass specs.
WAY TO GO FELLS! You ignored this long enough to get someone killed. I hope your sleeping well tonight.
