Alternative energy. It was reported on C-Span last Tuesday that more U S oil was was exported than was foreign oil imported for the first time in years. The cause of the high gas prices is greed. Oil companies reducing the amount of fuel produced to drive prices up and not to mention that all oil is traded on the open market. If the oil produced here was kept here and refined only for the U S it would drive oil prices down.
